Clinoril, known generically as sulindac, is primarily used to reduce pain, swelling, and joint stiffness associated with different forms of arthritis including rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis, and ankylosing spondylitis. It is also used for treating acute gout, bursitis, and tendinitis.
