XANAX should not be taken in the following situations:
- If you have an allergy to alprazolam, other benzodiazepines, or any of the ingredients in XANAX. You can find a comprehensive list of XANAX ingredients at the end of this Medication Guide.
- If you are currently using antifungal medications such as ketoconazole or itraconazole.
