Loprox Shampoo is used to treat seborrheic dermatitis of the scalp in adults. It's an antifungal medication that helps manage symptoms like dandruff and scalp irritation by stopping the growth of fungus.

Wet your hair and scalp, then apply about 1 teaspoon (5 mL) of Loprox Shampoo to the scalp. For long hair, you may use up to 2 teaspoons (10 mL). Massage into a lather and leave it on your scalp for 3 minutes before rinsing thoroughly. Avoid contact with your eyes.

The recommended usage is twice per week for 4 weeks, with at least 3 days between each application. This regimen helps achieve the best results against seborrheic dermatitis.
