Before using Saxenda, make sure to tell your doctor about all the medicines you take, including vitamins and supplements you add to your diet. Don’t use Saxenda if you’ve had a problem in the past called medullary thyroid carcinoma or Multiple Endocrine Neoplasia Syndrome type 2. Saxenda should not be taken if you’re pregnant, or if you’re allergic to liraglutide.
Also, let your doctor know if you’re taking other medicines like GLP-1 agonists or diabetes medicines (insulin and sulfonylurea products).
