Dexilant is a medication with the active ingredient dexlansoprazole. In addition to the active ingredient, it also contains various inactive ingredients. These inactive ingredients include:

Furthermore, the capsule shell of Dexilant is composed of hypromellose, carrageenan, and potassium chloride. The capsule shell color can vary, and it may contain additional colorants, with blue capsules containing FD&C Blue No. 2 (or FD&C Blue No. 2 aluminum lake), and gray capsules containing black ferric oxide. Both blue and gray capsules also contain titanium dioxide.
