How It Works

This drug contains an active ingredient called Ipratropium Bromide. It belongs to a class of drugs called anticholinergic bronchodilators. There are bronchial tubes in the lungs through which air passes. When it is inhaled orally, it helps to relax the muscles around the tubes. This helps to open up the tubes so that the patient can breathe easily. Unlike other drugs, it starts acting quickly. However, it takes about 2 hours to reach the highest potential.
